Since first airing months before the World Cup, ads for Carlsberg have increased the brewer’s market share by 1.8 percent and made it the number one brand in the first four weeks of the tournament. Saatchi & Saatchi, the masterminds behind the campaign, built 90-second spots featuring English sports legends in order to inspire the England team this summer.

With a roster that rivals some record labels, Justin Bieber joins skin care company, Proactiv, as their newest spokesperson.
The announcement led Billboard Magazine to contact GreenLight’s own David Reeder for his thoughts on the lucrative $3 million deal. “The idea of selling out, which was pretty fundamental to the world of musicians, has pretty much gone away,” says Reeder. “There are still holdouts, like Bruce Springsteen, but younger artist don’t view their image to sell products as selling out.”
