UK telecommunications giant Orange celebrated the fifth anniversary of its famous two-for-one movie night promotion “Orange Wednesdays” with a new campaign.
Fallon, Orange’s advertising agency, teamed up with GreenLight to work on a concept. After speaking to several major studios, we settled on The Wizard of Oz’s Wicked Witch of the West as the face of the campaign.
It took the art of wizardly negotiation to get the studio’s final blessing and approval. The result was a hugely successful campaign.
