McDonald’s – Let’s Talk About Coffee

The Story

McDonald’s wanted to promote their coffee offering by highlighting the quality of their ingredients as well as their refined coffee bean roasting process. The brand also wanted to use humour in their spot and asked Greenlight to source a clip showing an iconic personality drinking from a cup. Charlie Chaplin was a perfect fit.  The spot ends with Chaplin quietly enjoying a well-deserved break in the movie “Modern Times”.
